Rahul Dravid on Saturday became the third batsman of India and sixth batsman in history to score 10,000 Test runs when he reached 80 in the first Test against South Africa here.

The 35-year-old former captain is playing his 120th Test. He has scored 24 centuries and averaged 55.11 before the match began.

Played 94 Tests in succession since making his debut against England in 1996, Which was a world records for most Test apperances in a row since making a Test debut.

He is the First Player to post a century each in all the Test Playing Countries.

He is also one of the Nine Batsmen in test annals to have recorded centuries against all nine test playing opponents.

He has made 5 Double Test Centuries, Most by any Indian Batsmen.

Holds the record for Least number of Duck outs.
